 Sustaining Family, School, and Community Engagement Efforts — Track 2 Schools
With a framework model for family, school, and community engagement already implemented at
your school, the FIAT is ready to scale-up its efforts. This training will guide schools in the 2nd year
of Title I School Improvement – Family School and Community Engagement Grant implementation
discover ways of enhancing and sustaining their Family Involvement Action Team (FIAT) efforts.
Schools will gain knowledge on how to leverage support for engagement, gain an understanding
of how FIAT work meets Section 1118 and Title I requirements, and begin to re-write their
Action Plan for the 2010-2011 school year.
