Sumitting an Action Plan
Question: How do I submit my Action Plan?
Answer: Your plan is to be submitted as part of your School Improvement Plan for the 2009-2010 school year. The Arizona Department of Education has added in Goal 7: Parent Involvement and your plan is to be written under this goal. You should keep a hard copy of your plan in your team binder, provided during your NNPS training, as a reference guide. Remember that your School Improvement Plan is a working document and changes can be made to it year round. PIRC can access your plan via the ADE system.
Question: When is the deadline for the submission of my finalized plan?
Answer: The deadline for the submission of your finalized plan coincides with the deadline for your school improvement plan, October 28, 2009. Remember that your School Improvement Plan is a working document and can be edited if needed.
Question: Can I have a deadline extension for the finalization of my plan?
Answer: This question is best answered by your ADE representative, but to the best of our knowledge no deadline extensions are given for the submittal of a School Improvement Plan. All plans are due by October 28, 2009 but can be edited throughout the school year.
Question: Should I send my Action Plan to PIRC as well?

We will be able to access your plan via the ADE system. You are always encourage to send us your Action Plan if you feel writing assistance is needed.
Question: How will my school be monitored? What do I need to submit?
